In-house daycare
In September 2019, Porsche Holding opened its first in-house daycare to further assist our employees in achieving their ideal work-life balance. The company daycare in the Porschehof complex accepts children between 1 and 6 years of age. In-house childcare offers our employees the following benefits:
- Vicinity to their workplace
- Extended opening hours in line with flextime
- Open year-round, only closed on weekends and public holidays
- Individual care in small groups (toddler group and mixed age group)
- Heavily discounted monthly childcare fee
Holiday care, bi-annual family day
We understand that nine full weeks of summer holidays can be a very long time for working parents, which is why the Porsche Kids Club also offers a professional holiday care programme. While their parents are busy at work in the Porschehof complex, children can enjoy fun times together with their new friends in the public pool, museum or on the soccer field. And they also get to find out a little bit about where their parents work. Who knows? Our future technical and management specialists may already be among us, playing in the Porsche Kids Club.
We also have the bi-annual "Bring your Family Day", where we invite the families of our employees to take a tour of the impressive Porschehof complex. They will gain exciting insights into our daily work at Porsche Holding. Special highlights include live music, barbecue and a bounce house.
Parental leave for fathers, part-time arrangements during early childhood and the "Daddy month" are also important features of our family-focused activities. We always try our best to find solutions that can effectively accommodate the individual circumstances of our employees.
